The TW2-90 was a crystal controlled 'table top' 2m AM/CW transmitter with an input power of 90w on AM and 100w on CW. The RF line up consisted of an ECF-80 (overtone oscillator using 8MHz crystals), ECF-82 doubler (72-144MHz) , QQVO3-10 driver and a QQVO7-50A power amplifier. Modulation was provided by a pair of KT77 valves. A switch on the front panel allowed up to 3 different crystals to be selected. In January 1963 this transmitter retailed for 51gns.
A separate external PSU was required to provide the HT voltages (600v for the modulator and 750v for the P.A.).

I believe that this transmitter was quickly superseded by the TW2-120.
