TW eZKe Single Lever Paddle

The eZKe was designed to meet the demand for a high quality paddle at a reasonable price and provided a smooth transition from bug to paddle. For many owners of dual lever paddles who did not use Iambic or Squeeze keying, the eZKe could have been the perfect solution.

eZKe was manufactured, with the exception of the base, from solid brass polished to a mirror finish and protected from tarnishing by a specially formulated Marine lacquer. The base was of bevelled tool grade mild steel finished in a brass effect enamel which was also protected by several coats of acrylic lacquer. The eZKe retained its fine finish for many years.

TW keys were noted for their accuracy and fluid action and this addition to the range was no exception. No fewer than six racing type ballraces were used in its construction; these together with the silver steel shafts allowed for very fine setting of the contacts which were dome shaped and plated with 24K gold to a thickness of 3 microns, perfect for modern low current keying circuits.

Tensioning was by Neodymium magnets and could be varied from 10 to 50 grams. The key was supplied adjusted to 25 grams of pressure on both Dot and Dash Levers. A Hex adjustment tool was supplied and was housed in a pocket under the base. Once adjusted to the user requirements, both Tension and Contact Spacing needed no further adjustment during the life of the eZKe.

TW keys were supplied fitted with 1 metre of Hi Grade screened cord terminated with a 3.5mm screened stereo plug. eZKe was guaranteed to work straight from the box. The user's call could be affixed to the main bearing plate at no extra charge.
